What a Week!

This last week has been tough, yet fun. On Sunday we blessed Charlotte. Thank you to everyone who attended. It is a great feeling to know that we has so many family and friends to support us. Especially we want to thank Karen Leavitt (Levi's Aunt) for hosting everyone for dinner, it was great! We were very glad that Emma and Charlotte's grandparents were able to come. Thanks for traveling so far to see us.
On Monday our move to malta New York began. The whole moving experience has been rather interesting, but we have made it. We didn't feel quite ready for the movers on Monday, but they showed up anyways and packed everything we own into 61 boxes. The next day a 100 ft long trailer semi pulled in and loaded everything and took off for NY. As soon as the truck left Torrie began experiencing some pain in her shoulder and arm, as well as difficulty breathing. We took her to the ER to make sure she was not having symptoms of a blood clot. The testing they did showed everything to be ok, and it was concluded her pain may be a result of the C-section and holding an infant (basically doing too much too soon, but what else is expected of a great mom?). We considered delaying our flight, but after a priesthood blessing Torrie felt able to travel. During all of this Levi was finishing he MS degree up until the last minute (actually he has a few finishing touches to do). The flights went amazingly well! Charlotte is an angel and didnt cry at all, Emma was so patient and enjoyed her custom in flight movies (thanks to our new portable DVD player). All 4 of us even got a nap!

During all of this our little family has bonded really well. It is so wonderful to see our girls interact. Emma is such a sweet big sister. She has welcomed Charlotte with open arms and kisses. Emma has also gotten some special time with mom and dad, her favorite has been the pool in the hotel. Now that we are here we will spend the next few days recovering before Levi starts work and we move into our new home.

We are so glad to hear you made the move safe and sound.
glad the flights went so well. isn't a movie the best for a long flight. Can't wait to hear about the new job. We will come and visit sometime next year when you are ready for visitors. Love to all of you. ~ Karen and Family

Glad you guys made it ok and still seem to be sane. I don't know how you have lived through the past few weeks. We're sad to see you go and we'll miss you. Charlotte is adorable by the way!
