Well its been a little on the hot and humid side here in good ol' VA. The pool is still enjoyable but only when its not closed for thunderstorms, which are a frequent and crazy occurrence. My girls are quite creative and have a lot of fun just being together and outside often, but for a short amounts of time. They have a plant and a little truck as well as a kiddie pool on our patio, what else could kids want?

Giving up and making the best of the situation. :)Aside from the patio and the pool, we took a "whack at it" at our local mini golf course.
This is one of the many tactics employed by the cheaters that are my children....

Another tactic, pick up and hide Mom's ball.
Charlotte's other favorite activity, sniffin the flowers! (the first beingmessing with Mom's game, she picked up my ball at every hole!)
The good girls with their penny jar, took them a month of earning pennies for the grand finale of a mini golf family date night (there were other smaller prizes on a weekly basis)
This is why it took a month to earn those pennies, some days just getting a photo is tough!
Yay! we made it! Now, what to do for next month? Don't worry Emma already has it all planned out ;)
