Haupt? What?!

I've had a lot of fun with my new last name over the years. My first encounter is when we were still dating at BYU-Hawaii. I had heard Levi's last name but it confused me, so, hoping to be able to figure it out if I saw it, I made up some excuse to see his ID card. When I saw it, it didn't help, I thought, " Oh crap, I feel more confused and feel sorry for the girl who inherits that!" My mother's joking admonition of having a nice last name to match " Victoria" rang in my mind. Luckily I got over my pride and have learned to just spell it for those who need it.
